Arabic software supplier, Sakhr Software and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the signing of an agreement to supply the Chamber with Sakhr’s fully integrated solution for data management, archive and retrieval, based on ArabDox and the Idrisi search engine.
Sakhr Software’s Arabic document management system, ArabDox, is an advanced system for the management, archive and retrieval of Arabic documents, based on a number of proprietary NLP technologies, including Arabic OCR, Keyword Extractor and Arabic search. ArabDox supports all popular file formats and ODBC, which allows users to access different databases, over the Internet or their corporate Intranet.
The bilingual Idrisi search engine is notable for its capability to search in both English and Arabic texts, as it incorporates complex Arabic grammatical rules and a large database of Arabic terms, in addition to intelligent search features in Arabic content.
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been the backbone of the commercial and economic activities of the Emirates and a source of development and progress. It has accompanied Dubai in its journey from a forgotten village on the Gulf shores to an international city and one of the business centers of the world. — (menareport.com)
