Dubai Drydocks has completed construction of the GAC Mumtaz, the world's only double skin, purpose built lube oil barge. The barge has joined GAC's fleet of lube supply craft, stated a press release.
GAC Mumtaz is capable of handling bulk lube oil, fresh water and deck cargo with a capacity of over 400 cubic meters and can store seven different grades. Six 20-foot tank containers on deck greatly increase her cargo capacity.
As one of the regions major ship supply companies, GAC provides services out of Dubai, Fujairah and Ras Al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) including crew changes and the supply of spares and provisions in Gulf waters. — (menareport.com)
