Consumers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now purchase prepaid phone cards and parking meter cards with the introduction of CARDz vending machines in Dubai.
The machines offer 30 Emirati dirham (eight dollars) prepaid phone cards used to recharge mobile phones. They also offer Dh 30 cards used in public phone booths, as well as prepaid parking meter cards that can be used to buy the white parking tickets rather than having to use coins.
The automated vending machines have been installed at convenient locations throughout Dubai including shopping malls, universities, office buildings, and petrol stations. An expansion program is already in place for the region, with plans to have the machines available in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and Lebanon. — (menareport.com)
