“The Dubai Herbal and Treatment Center (DH&TC) has attracted three world authorities in complementary medicines to head their traditional medicines departments”, announced Ali Redha, Director General of the Dubai Herbal and Treatment Center.

Established under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the center houses three main departments which represent traditional Indian, Chinese and Arabic herbal medicines. "The Center was initially set up to offer an alternative to allopathic medicines to the people in the UAE," said Redha.

"By attracting experts in their fields, we aim to raise awareness about complementary medicines in the UAE," added Redha. "Our practitioners had to undergo the licensing procedures employed by the Department of Health – like any other medical doctor - before they were allowed to practice in the UAE." — (menareport.com)
