ALBAWABA – The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced the hiring of artificial intelligence (AI) employees capable of performing a full day’s tasks in just 2 minutes.

During the Arab Health Exhibition currently taking place in Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the government organization overseeing Dubai's health system, revealed it has hired artificial intelligence (AI) employees.
These AI employees were developed through Robotic Process Automation (RPA), a type of business process automation that utilizes software robots (bots) or AI agents.
The new AI employees can complete 24 hours' worth of daily tasks in just 2 minutes, giving human employees more time to focus on creative and strategic roles.
Majid Sultan Al Meheiri, director of IT at DHA, stated: “The system is set to transform workflows by reducing task completion times and streamlining operations. DHA is proud to be the first organization to use this technology in its daily operations. RPA acts as a virtual employee, capable of performing multiple tasks throughout the year. We have an employee ID and registration for the system.”

Notably, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has employed two RPA systems within the organization, capable of performing ten services. The authority plans to expand this number later this year.
“For example, medical report validation used to take an entire day. The process involved assigning tasks, validating documents, and responding the next day. Now, with AI-powered content recognition, the same task is completed in two minutes,” Al Meheiri added.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) are aligned to perform complex tasks through machine learning, language processing, and content recognition.
