The Dubai Institute for Human Resources Development (DIHRD) is an initiative aimed at increasing developmental and career opportunities for United Arab Emirate (UAE) nationals through seminars, workshops, conferences, as well as academic and vocational programs. These offerings are designed to re-skill, develop, coach and mentor the immense intellectual capital and formidable human resources in the UAE.
The Institute will offer a Management Diploma in partnership with an International University. This 18 - 24 months part-time program is targeted at high school graduates whether unemployed or currently pursuing careers in the government departments. 'The Diplomas will be awarded by a highly-accredited university in the UK, and covers disciplines in information systems, human resources management, quality management and financial management.
DIHRD will offer UK accredited competency based short courses designed to develop the mindsets and bridge the skills gaps and identified by the market. These short courses are designed in conjunction with international industry specialists, and lead to internationally recognized certificates.
These programs will be conducted usinge training methodology involving simulations and work related settings, covering a variety of vocations such as customer service, administration and supervisory skills.
