Dubai International Airport continues to operate as normal despite the US-led military campaign against Iraq, stated the.  

 

“We regret the onset of the conflict, however, we are very far away from it and are completely safe. Dubai International Airport will continue to remain open and provide all support to airlines and passengers. We have contingency plans in place to facilitate airline requests if required. It is up to the airline to take whatever decision is good for them. For us it is business as usual,” said President of the Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum.  

 

Dubai International Airport contingency plans include 24 hours operations, providing round the clock information on safe routing for airlines, aircraft parking positions for up to 100 hundred aircraft and additional operations manpower as and when required. — (menareport.com)
