Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), one of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s leading financial institutions, recently launched a new promotion for its Visa and Visa Electron cardholders. The promotion, which is offering 100,000 Emirati dirhams ($27,226) worth of prizes will run for two months, and is slated to end in December.
By using their Visa card for transactions DIB's Visa cardholders will be entered into two draws for the chance to win one of 10 free prizes in each draw. Each prize is a total refund of a month's spending up to Dh 5,000 on the winners' card. Cash transactions are not eligible.
This new promotion follows the bank's recent seven week free flight promotion when it provided 30 winners with return flights to a variety of destinations including Sydney, Mumbai, London, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Jeddah, Cairo and Beirut.
Established on 1975, DIBank is considered to be the first Islamic bank in the world that has implemented the principles of Islam in all its practices. It was founded with active assistance of the UAE Government, the Central Bank and people of the UAE. — (menareport.com)
