Dubai: Land deals on June 6

The total value of land transactions in Dubai June 6 peaked at Dhs84.81 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs31 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs53.77 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 11 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of June 6, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Baraha that was sold for Dhs7.3365 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Waheda acquired for the sum of Dhs5 million and another in Al Barsha First for Dhs4.229679 million.

 

The Al Waheda area was the most active in terms of June 6's sales, with some 2 transactions. Hor Al Anz followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Baraha recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs7.34 million, followed by the Al Waheda area, Dhs6.6 million, and Al Barsha First area, Dhs4.23 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 19874 sq ft in the Al Waheda area, which went for Dhs5 million. A 17810 sq ft plot in the Al Aweer Second Area was acquired for Dhs1.6 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Barsha Second was disposed of for Dhs3 million.

 

During the period under review 8 mortgages worth Dhs53.77 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs30 million for an area at Mankhool. There was another for Dhs9.5 million on an area in Mirdif.
