The total value of land transactions in Dubai May 14 peaked at Dhs411.35 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs30 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs381.58 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 14 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Eyal Nasser that was sold for Dhs6.45 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Bada acquired for the sum of Dhs2.7 million and another in Mirdif for Dhs2.45 million.
The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 3 transactions. Al Satwa followed it with 2 sales.
During the period, Emirates Hills First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs6.5 million, followed by the Eyal Nasser area, Dhs6.45 million, and Mirdif area, Dhs4.37 million.
The biggest area sold was the 10777.79 sq ft in the Emirates Hills First area, which went for Dhs2.4 million. A 10641.41 sq ft plot in the Emirates Hills First Area was acquired for Dhs2 million, while 10289.43 sq ft of Emirates Hills First was disposed of for Dhs2.1 million.
During the period under review 11 mortgages worth Dhs184.49 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs100 million for an area at Al Rega. There was another for Dhs60 million on an area in Marsa Dubai
