The total value of land transactions in Dubai May 30 peaked at Dhs165.45 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs49 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs115.98 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 12 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of May 30, the most valuable of which was a plot in Mirdif that was sold for Dhs9.4275 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Mirdif acquired for the sum of Dhs9.4275 million and another in Al Karama for Dhs5.2 million.
The Al Bada area was the most active in terms of May 30's sales, with some 2 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 2 sales.
During the period, Mirdif recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs18.86 million, followed by the Al Bada area, Dhs6.75 million, and Al Karama area, Dhs5.2 million.
The biggest area sold was the 28142.5 sq ft in the Mirdif area, which went for Dhs9.43 million. A 15750 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha Second Area was acquired for Dhs3.47 million, while 10000 sq ft of Muhaisanah First was disposed of for Dhs1.55 million.
During the period under review 7 mortgages worth Dhs109.67 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs28.16 million for an area at Um Ramool. There was another for Dhs24 million on an area in Um Suqaim First.
