Dubai: Land deals reported

The total value of land transactions in Dubai during the past 3 days peaked at Dhs309.41 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs137 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs172.02 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 23 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of Monday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Marsa Dubai that was sold for Dhs65 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Murqabat acquired for the sum of Dhs16 million and another in Muhaisanah Fourth for Dhs14.5 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the said period's sales, with 9 transactions. Hor Al Anz followed it with 3 sales.

 

During  the period, Marsa Dubai recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs65 million, followed by the Emirates Hills First area, Dhs18.85 million, and Al Murqabat area, Dhs16 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 37869 sq ft in the Marsa Dubai area, which went for Dhs65 million. A 25390 sq ft plot in the Muhaisanah Fourth Area was acquired for Dhs14.5 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Barsha Second was disposed of for Dhs2.93 million.

 

During the period under review, 10 mortgages worth Dhs172.02 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs140 million for an area at Mankhool. There was another for Dhs15 million on an area in Muhaisanah Fourth.
