The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday peaked at Dhs73.51 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs38 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs35.64 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 7 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Mirdif that was sold for Dhs8.9 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Bada acquired for the sum of Dhs8.7705 million and another in Margham for Dhs6.1 million
The Al Bada area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with some 1 transactions. Al Barsha First followed it with one sale.
During the period, Mirdif recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs8.9 million, followed by the Al Bada area, Dhs8.77 million, and Margham area, Dhs6.1 million.
The biggest area sold was the 604625 sq ft in the Margham area, which went for Dhs6.1 million. A 39040.37 sq ft plot in the Nad Al Shiba Area was acquired for Dhs5.46 million, while 29235 sq ft of Al Bada was disposed of for Dhs8.77 million.
During the period under review 6 mortgages worth Dhs29.94 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs17.83 million for an area at Al Nahda Second. There was another for Dhs9 million on an area in Al Baraha.
