Dubai: Land deals reported

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs481.46 millions  million, of which sales exceeded Dhs317 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs164.8 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 25 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Nahda Second that was sold for Dhs91 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Barsha First acquired for the sum of Dhs48.0384 million and another in Al Mararr for Dhs44 million.

 

The Mirdif area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 4 transactions. Abu Hail followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Nahda Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs91 million, followed by the Al Barsha First area, Dhs48.04 million, and Al Mararr area, Dhs44 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 240192 sq ft in the Al Barsha First area, which went for Dhs48.04 million. A 38372.7 sq ft plot in the Emirates Hills Second Area was acquired for Dhs32.62 million, while 32958 sq ft of Al Nahda Second was disposed of for Dhs91 million.
