Dubai: Land deals on Saturday

The total value of land transactions in Dubai on Saturday peaked at Dhs66.64 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs48 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs18.92 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 6 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of Saturday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Barsha First that was sold for Dhs24.6 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Muhaisanah Fourth acquired for the sum of Dhs9 million and another in Muhaisanah Fourth for Dhs8.4 million.

 

The Muhaisanah Fourth area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with 2 transactions. Al Barsha First followed it with 1 deal.

 

During the period, Al Barsha First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs24.6 million, followed by the Muhaisanah Fourth area, Dhs17.4 million, and Al Khabeesi area, Dhs3.3 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 115005 sq ft in the Al Barsha First area, which went for Dhs24.6 million. A 26505 sq ft plot in the Muhaisanah Fourth Area was acquired for Dhs9 million, while 20175 sq ft of Muhaisanah Fourth was disposed of for Dhs8.4 million.

 

During the period under review 4 mortgages worth Dhs12.02 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs6.9 million for an area at Jumeira Second. There was another for Dhs5.5 million on an area in Al Mararr.
