The total value of land transactions in Dubai Saturday peaked at Dhs139.32 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs80 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs59.17 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 10 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Nahda First that was sold for Dhs21.7 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Jabal Ali Industrial acquired for the sum of Dhs18.16185 million and another in Al Nahda First for Dhs17.2 million.
The Al Nahda First area was the most active in terms of the day's sales, with some 2 transactions. Al Barsha Third followed it with one sale.
During the period, Al Nahda First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs38.9 million, followed by the Jabal Ali Industrial area, Dhs18.16 million, and Port Saeed area, Dhs8.53 million.
The biggest area sold was the 121079 sq ft in the Jabal Ali Industrial area, which went for Dhs18.16 million. A 24537 sq ft plot in the Al Nahda First Area was acquired for Dhs17.2 million, while 23030 sq ft of Al Nahda First was disposed of for Dhs21.7 million.
During the period under review 10 mortgages worth Dhs50.97 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs13 million for an area at Margham. There was another for Dhs11.49 million on an area in Port Saeed
