The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday peaked at Dhs106.85 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs60 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs46.53 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 13 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Nahda First that was sold for Dhs26.11283 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Um Suqaim Second acquired for the sum of Dhs10 million and another in Al Satwa for Dhs4.75 million.
The Al Muteena area was the most active in terms of the day's sales, with some 2 transactions. Al Rashidiya followed it with 2 sales.
During the period, Al Nahda First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs26.11 million, followed by the Um Suqaim Second area, Dhs10 million, and Al Satwa area, Dhs4.75 million.
The biggest area sold was the 40526 sq ft in the Um Suqaim Second area, which went for Dhs10 million. A 35771 sq ft plot in the Al Nahda First Area was acquired for Dhs26.11 million, while 15000 sq ft of Jumeira First was disposed of for Dhs3.8 million.
During the period under review 33 mortgages worth Dhs46.53 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs12 million for an area at Um Suqaim Second. There was another for Dhs6 million on an area in Jumeira First.
