Dubai Maritime City to develop 86,000 sq meters of commercial space in 410 days

Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings, a regional leader in fast track, turnkey construction of commercial and industrial facilities, has been awarded the contract to design and build a new commercial complex at The Dubai Maritime City (DMC),   by Nakheel, the master developer of Dubai Maritime City. This multi million dollar project comprises eleven individual commercial buildings and a range of workshops, warehouses, shops and showrooms covering an area of 86,000 square meters in Dubai Maritime City at Port Rashid, Bur Dubai.  Nakheel has also commissioned Turner International as the Project Managers and Al Wasl al Jadeed as the Technical Design Consultants for the project.

 

Nakheel has contracted Amana to design and build this project on a fast track basis in under 410 days.  “This is a strategic and operational milestone for Amana as it is demonstrates the company’s leadership in fast track, turnkey construction of commercial and industrial facilities,” said Jihad Bsaibes, General Manager of Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings in Dubai.
