Dubai’s Ministry of Health has purchased its first CT Laser Mammography (CTLM) breast imaging system from Imaging Diagnostic Systems (IDSI).

The transaction was initiated by the Company's Canadian-based distributor, Medical Imaging Systems (MIS) at the 2002 RSNA radiological conference.

MIS has an exclusive agreement with IDSI to sell the CTLM systems in Canada and selective territories in the Middle East.

Imaging Diagnostic Systems' banking institution is in receipt of an irrevocable letter of credit from the Ministry of Health, Ras Al-Khalma in Dubai for the amount of $180,000. This amount represents an introductory price for a limited offer that was presented at the 2002 RSNA Medical Conference.

IDSI has developed the world's first patented laser-based breast imaging system that utilizes laser technology and proprietary and patented algorithms to create three-dimensional cross sectional images of the breast. The CTLM is a non-invasive, painless examination that does not expose the patient to radiation or require breast compression. — (menareport.com)
