The Emirate of Dubai is currently preparing to host the annual summit of the World Bank and the IMF, which will take place in September 2003, according to Al-Hayat daily.
Preparations have already begun for this important global summit, even though the event is to be held in over a year from now.
Approximately 15,000-20,000 people are expected to attend the event, whose initial budget stands at 150 million Emirati dirhams ($40.8 million). –(MENA Report)
