The total value of land transactions in Dubai last two days peaked at Dhs219.99 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs42 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs178.24 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 6 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Nad Al Shiba that was sold for Dhs30 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Mezhar First acquired for the sum of Dhs5 million and another in Emirates Hills First for Dhs2.34 million.
The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the two day's sales, with some 2 transactions. Al Khawaneej First followed it with one sale.
During the period, Nad Al Shiba recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs30 million, followed by the Al Mezhar First area, Dhs5 million, and Emirates Hills First area, Dhs4.34 million.
The biggest area sold was the 3000085 sq ft in the Nad Al Shiba area, which went for Dhs30 million. A 20100 sq ft plot in the Al Khawaneej First Area was acquired for Dhs2.2 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Mezhar First was disposed of for Dhs5 million.
During the period under review 10 mortgages worth Dhs175.24 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs114.52 million for an area at Al Nahda First. There was another for Dhs32 million on an area in Al Qusais Industrial Third.
