According the September 7 edition of Al-Bayan newspaper, an official report shows that the real estate sector in Dubai had witnessed 86% increase during the period 2001-2004 and an annual growth rate of 16.7%.
The sector witnessed a boom during the recent years and it is expected to continue with the same trend in the short and medium run. The value of the planned projects to be executed in the upcoming 5 years is estimated at more than $30 billion.
