Dubai: Total value of land transactions on April 23

The total value of land transactions in Dubai on April 23 peaked at Dhs115.35 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs43 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs72.23 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 8 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Buteen that was sold for Dhs22.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Bada acquired for the sum of Dhs8.7705 million and another in Jumeira First for Dhs3.5 million.

 

The Al Bada area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with some 1 transactions. Al Buteen followed it with one sale.

 

During the period, Al Buteen recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs22.5 million, followed by the Al Bada area, Dhs8.77 million, and Jumeira First area, Dhs3.5 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 29235 sq ft in the Al Bada area, which went for Dhs8.77 million. A 15000 sq ft plot in the Muhaisanah Third Area was acquired for Dhs2.1 million, while 7500 sq ft of Al Mezhar First was disposed of for Dhs1.13 million.

 

During the period under review 7 mortgages worth Dhs72.23 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs50 million for an area at Al Qusais First. There was another for Dhs15 million on an area in Al Baraha.
