Dubai: Weekly land deals report

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs631.82 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs266 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs365.83 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 48 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Jadaf that was sold for Dhs28.874 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Barsha First acquired for the sum of Dhs24.6 million and another in Um Hurair Second for Dhs22.0536 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with 10 transactions. Muhaisanah Fourth followed it with 4 sales.

 

During  the period, Um Hurair Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs67.64 million, followed by the Muhaisanah Fourth area, Dhs33 million, and Al Jadaf area, Dhs28.87 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 115005 sq ft in the Al Barsha First area, which went for Dhs24.6 million. A 37422.14 sq ft plot in the Um Hurair Second Area was acquired for Dhs18.64 million, while 35817 sq ft of Um Hurair Second was disposed of for Dhs17.84 million.

 

During the period under review 23 mortgages worth Dhs292.73 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs84.5 million for an area at Emirates Hills Second. There was another for Dhs60 million on an area in Hor Al Anz East.
