The Dubai UK Trade & Economic Committee (DUKTEC), a government initiative to promote trade and business relations between Dubai and the UK, which is fully supported by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), held its 16TH committee meeting on April 20 in HSBC’s headquarters in London.
These meetings are held twice a year alternating the venue between Dubai and the UK. The main topics of discussion on the agenda included the United Kingdom’s involvement in the reconstruction of Iraq, Urban Light Transport System, and Women in business in the Arab World, as well as reports prepared by the several working groups operating under the committee’s umbrella. — (menareport.com)
