DUTCO Hotels has re-branded with a new look and new name. DUTCO Hotels, which comprises of the Oasis Beach Hotel, the Hatta Fort Hotel and the Jebel Ali Hotel and Golf Resort, will now trade under the group name of Jebel Ali International Hotels.
As of today, the DUTCO Hotels brand will be known as Jebel Ali International Hotels and will feature a modernized, softer version of its previous logo, according to a company press release.
“In recent research carried out amongst our corporate and leisure partners, it was confirmed that the company is best recognized as an organization offering the tradition of hospitality and excellence, a tradition forged in our Arabian heritage which will always form the bed rock of the Hotel Company,” Gerhard Hardick, Jebel Ali International Hotels general manager said.
“The name Jebel Ali has consistently been associated with the best Dubai has to offer; not just its first world class resort but a world class Free Zone, Industrial Park and soon the record breaking Jebel Ali Palm Island. It is hardly surprising that we would wish to re-emphasize this name for the company so it can proudly take its place among the other international Jebel Ali stars,” he added.
In addition, the Jebel Ali Hotel and Golf Resort will change its name to the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. The Spa was opened in September this year. In addition to the change in group name and logo, all properties will sport revamped, modernized logos, which will be used in all of the company's future promotional material.
“The logo of the Jebel Ali International Hotel group is a variation on the existing DUTCO Hotels logo. Maintaining the corporate colors of green and gold, the iconography has been softened to indicate palm leaves, in keeping with the company's long-standing Arabic heritage,” David Thomson, director of Sales and Marketing, said.
“The font for all hotels' logos has been softened giving a new look and feel for each of our three properties. The change in name and corporate identity is yet another step forward in the 21-year history of DUTCO Hotels,” he added.
Since the opening of the Hatta Fort Hotel and the Jebel Ali Hotel, the group has added the four-star Oasis Beach Hotel to its list of properties. Hatta Fort Hotel has doubled in size, in terms of rooms and restaurants and has added clay pigeon shooting, field and target archery, a cross-country golf course, meeting facilities and recently a rock garden pool complex.
Oasis Beach Hotel has just launched a new Privilege Club, which includes special in-room amenities and exclusive use of the 10th floor Privilege Club Lounge. The hotel's new wellness center, The Oasis Retreat, is set to open before the end of 2002, to compliment the new ‘Oasis Beach Beauty Salon'.
The Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa maintains a combination of resort facilities in Dubai, including a Championship standard nine-hole Golf Course, 80 berth marina, three independent pools, and an Olympic standard shooting club.
Thomson said, “Since the Resorts opening, we have added the exclusive Palm Tree Court which is made up of 134 exclusive deluxe sea facing rooms in an idyllic tropical setting, as well as adding The Spa, operated by Middle East Spa Resources, who operate the famous Cleopatra Spa at Wafi City.” — (menareport.com)
