Danish paint producer, Dyrup, opened in Jeddah the regional offices and consultancy center for the Arabian Danish Paint Co.. Dyrup is a partner of ADP. Dyrup boasts three predominant brand-names: Dyrup Paints, GPC and AD. According to market sources, the Arabian Danish Paint Co. controls 15% of the Saudi paint market.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Jeddah Governor Dr. Nazih Nasif praised ADP's performance and mentioned that it won several awards, including the "King Abd al-Aziz Best Factory Honor," and both the "Best Company in the paint industry" and runner-up for top honors in the chemical industry, Al-Jazirah Daily reported.
The new office will include an outlet for direct public sales, in which staff will be trained to aid clients in optimal use of the company's products. The Arabian Danish Paint Company was established in 1974, with capital of SR30 million. (albawaba.com news agency)
