ECC teams up with US engineering firm to aid Iraqi children

US-based Environmental Chemical Corporation (ECC is partnering with ZapataEngineering to donate much-needed money to the Kyle's Schools campaign.  

 

Created by Kyle Barden, an Army ranger serving in Iraq, and his brother, Taylor, the drive is bringing together individuals and businesses from across the country to collect funds and supplies for 11 war-torn schools in Laylan, a small town in northern Iraq.  

 

Employees and stakeholders from ECC and ZapataEngineering, who are currently working together under a contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntsville District to clean up munitions in and around Iraq, will be donating close to $3,000 for the purchase of basic supplies such as pencils, paper, and books, as well as reconstruction of the town's eight resource-deprived and three partially destroyed schools.  

 

ECC is has offices in Kuwait, Germany, and Japan. Founded in 1985, the company provides a complete range of services to protect public health and the environment. ECC serves a variety of government agencies, including the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Air Force, US Navy, and US Environmental Protection Agency. — (menareport.com)
