Chinese network solutions supplier Huawei Technologies recently signed a contract with EgyNet, a premier data carrier in Egypt Huawei will provide EgyNet with its Quiday A8010 access servers to meet increasing demands for internet service in Egypt. EgyNet ultimately closed its deal with Huawei for constructing a large volume dial-up access network after an all-round rigid test was completed.
EgyNet chose Huawei’s access server for its large volume dial-up network and is now able to offer easier and faster access to Internet for tens of thousands of Netizens, for its ISP customers, mainly in the populous cities such as Cairo, Alexandria and others. The A8010-based port wholesale solution is very economical for EgyNet's ISP customers reducing the cost of construction, management, and maintenance of their separate IP data and subscribers access networks.
