Egypt has received two billion dollars in reparation fees from the Secretariat of the United Nations for damages incurred by the Gulf War, reported KUNA. Egyptian residents are entitled to compensation for loss of property up to $100,000, injury or death.
Egyptian Minister of Labor Ahmad Al-Amawi stated on Monday, December 17, that “funds will be distributed to those deserving compensation.” Claims must be approved by the Geneva-based UN Secretariat for Compensations. — (menareport.com)
