As part of the Egyptian government’s effort to support the Palestinian Intifada, authorities will provide $11,778 to the Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry.
Mohammad Al-Qudwa, chairman of the federation of these chambers, is due in Egypt next week, according to MENA.
Head of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce Khaled Abu Ismail, is expected to present his Palestinian counterpart with Egypt’s support at meeting scheduled during the visit.
In further effort to end the devastating regional conflict, Osama Al-Baz, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s political advisor, traveled earlier this week to the United States.
Al-Baz aimed to persuade the US to become more involved in the solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. –(MENA Report)
