The Egyptian government has announced it intends to build three international highways in the framework of a new highways network construction projectm, reported Al-Hayat .
The government will commission local, Arab and foreign investors with constructing these highways in exchange of a limited exploitation period, by the end of which the ownership over these highways passes to the government.
The total investment required for the construction of the three roads is estimated at 26 billion Egyptian pounds ($6.2 billion). — (Mena Report)
