ALBAWABA - The Paris 2024 Olympics witnessed a new friendship between Elon Musk, the American billionaire, and CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company and Bernard Arnault, the famous French billionaire known for “the wolf in the cashmere coat,” and Chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton.

Musk and Arnault's wealth

Both Musk and Arnault are listed among the world’s richest men. Musk is now ranked as the richest person in the world with a fortune estimated at $243 billion, while Arnault is ranked as the third richest person in the world with a fortune of $188 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Musk and Arnault meeting at Paris 2024 Olympics

When interviewed on CNBC, Arnault was asked about his new friendship with Musk. Arnault said he had the chance to have lunch with Musk and the French President, Emmanuel Macron while watching some of the Olympics live games.

Arnault said: “I admire very much what he's doing because I think he's a genius.” The French billionaire also stressed on Musk’s success stories with Tesla and SpaceX and hinted at some ongoing discussions about their companies working together.

Louis Vuitton and SpaceX

Some sources revealed the discussion about a soon potential collaboration between Louis Vuitton, the global fashion house and SpaceX, the space technology company. This collaboration will focus on producing a space rocket with Louis Vuitton’s name.
