ALBAWABA - Amid the new agreement between Apple and Open AI, the CEO of Tesla Motors Elon Musk has reportedly blocked Apple's official account from his social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

Users on X took to the platform and explained how they could visit Apple's official account but that it was empty of posts. Usually, when users search for a big account like Apple's on X, it would come up as a top search result but it was missing.

Many users didn't take kindly to Musk's decision as they described him as a "hypocrite" and a "baby dictator". One user added, "How's that free speech absolutist thing going for ya, buddy? Finding enough time for it between yapping nonsense tweets and squashing unions?"

Users on the platform also reported either not seeing posts from Apple or having the account full-on blocked for them.

According to the BBC, despite having issues with the recent agreement between Apple and Open AI, Elon Musk unexpectedly asked a California court to withdraw his legal case against OpenAI and Sam Altman.

Elon Musk accused both companies of abandoning the firm's mission to develop AI for humanity's benefit but later withdrew it without giving any context and reason.

On the other hand, Musk did withdraw the case but it was put under "without prejudice" which means that he has the power to open the case again at a later stage.

After the agreement was announced, Elon Musk took to his official X account and posted a plethora of messages expressing his dissatisfaction about the matter.

One post said, "Apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They’re selling you down the river."

He also mocked the two companies by posting a meme:
