ALBAWABA - Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk recently revealed the potential behind his chip, Neuralink that it could cure conditions like paralysis in the future!
He made a few interesting points about the human brain on his official X account (formerly known as Twitter):
"The physicality of the brain becomes startlingly obvious upon inspection: it is a biological computer.
Our brains shrink over time as we age and when you see the brain of someone with severe dementia, the damage is not subtle. What is surprising is that it functions at all."
Elon Musk says Neuralink could cure paralysis
He added that it might be a tough problem to fix, but that it's still possible, according to a reply he made on X.
In the video embedded above, Elon and his team explained how Tesla's Optimus could help humankind in the future by helping people who can't communicate and the ones who lost their limbs. How?
Musk thinks Optimus and Neuralink could go hand in hand:
- For communication, people could use Optimus to communicate with others.
- People with lost limbs, can use Optimus limbs and control them with their brains using Neuralink.
Elon Musk quoted people saying that computers are controlling the world and he didn't deny it since he added that "they already do."
He also discussed topics about the human brain's adaptability to technology and how it can enhance or repair its function.

Yesterday, Musk went viral on his social media after teasing the next generation of his Optimus AI robot.
Musk said on his official account, "The new Optimus design, which will be complete later this year, is something special." This was met with hype from X users across the board as they showed their excitement for what's to come in the future.
According to Tesla, despite being inspired by the older generation, the new Optimus 2.0 has undergone some design changes over the years including its humanoid robot hand which was redesigned four times in the last two years.
