Emaar Properties unveils its much awaited Burj Dubai project - The Old Town Island, a 26-hectare Arabian inspired island located on the Burj Dubai Lake and opposite the Burj Dubai – the tallest tower in the world when completed in 2008. The Old Town Island will also offer boutique offices, a hotel and spa and some of Dubai’s finest entertainment and retail venues.
The first phase of The Old Town Island – Tajer Residences - is due to go on sale in the next few weeks with a model apartment open for viewing from Sunday, November 20. Prospective buyers can visit the model apartment in The Old Town Presentation Centre located within the Burj Dubai development, just off the Burj Dubai interchange.
The Old Town Island is designed as a mixed use town within a city. Neighbourhoods contain a mixture of exquisite low-rise waterfront apartments, 35,000 square metres of retail in the style of a traditional souk, 8,000 square metres of boutique offices and a five star hotel. With a bridge linking it directly to The Dubai Mall, the island is at the very heart of Burj Dubai’s downtown.
Bahiya Kayed, Assistant Director - Sales, Emaar Properties, said: “The Old Town Island is a truly unique neighbourhood. Nowhere else would the low-rise charm of bygone days be located at the heart of a bustling downtown and look out towards the world’s tallest building. With some of the world’s best leisure and entertainment options on its door step, The Old Town Island combines the very best of two exquisite worlds.”
Divided into four sectors, Tajer (East), Al Bahar (North), Attareen (West) and Manara Hotel, The Old Town Island includes one, two and three bedroom apartments with living space ranging from 840 sq ft to 3,284 sq ft. Each of the 405 apartments in The Old Town Island is unique with its own individual layout.
The Old Town Island offers a range of first class choices for residents and visitors including speciality restaurants, night club, business centre, swimming pools, spa, fitness centre and children’s play areas. With parking for tenants and guests underground, The Old Town Island is a car free zone allowing residents and visitors to make the most of the captivating alleyways and courtyards that epitomise the style of The Old Town Island.
