The Emirates nationalizing committee, which is commissioned with regulating national labor employment in the various economic sectors in the UAE, reported that only 175 Emirates employees are working in the 50 operating national and foreign insurance firms in the UAE, reported Al-Hayat newspaper.
This number of employees constitutes only five percent of the total labor employed by these companies, which amounts to 3,500 employees. The committee called to double this ratio to 10 percent. –(Albawaba-MEBG)
