Emirates Computers was recently honored with the 'Distributor of the Year for 2002' award from Nokia, after outperforming 50 other Nokia distributors from the Middle East, Pakistan and Iran for exceptional sales performance and high performance indicators related to Nokia products.
This is the first time ever that a company in the Middle East reaches such an advanced competitive position at the international level. The criteria taken into consideration while deciding the award included appropriate forecasting and compliance to the projections, quality of service, branding/marketing activities, retail presence and implementation of Nokia strategy.
In addition, Emirates Computers has secured the sixth position in the Nokia Chairman's list of top 20 performers at the global level, raising its status considerably in the community of Nokia distributors worldwide.
