Ajman’s Emirates Techno Casting (ETC), manufacturer of zinc and aluminum alloy anodes for the marine and offshore industries has taken up a massive expansion program in the Sharjah Hamriaya Free Zone which will enhance its casting production to 12,000 tons per annum by the end of 2003.
This past March, ETC invested four million dollars in an Ajman production plant to produce new generation pipeline repair clamps. The upgrade increased the company’s production by 50 percent to manufacture 300 offshore repair clamps per month.
ETC recently signed up with Bitech International, an ERP solution provider for implementing the iBaan suite of products for their factories at Ajman and in the Hamriya Free zone with plans to roll out to their other divisions in the next six months. — (menareport.com)
