Abu Dhabi based retail major Emke Group has signed a contract to take over the management of Al Wahda Mall, the new mega shopping centre in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
According to Gulf News, Yousuf Ali M.A., managing director of Emke Group, and Rashid Al Zaabi, chairman of Al Wahda Club, signed the agreement.
The group's future plans feature the opening of 12 new hypermarkets and shopping malls by end-2006 in Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
