Global Technology Services (GTS), the Information Technology (IT) division of Emirates National Oil Company Limited (ENOC), will launch various new services and products at Gitex 2002, the region’s premier industry event, held at Dubai’s International Exhibition Centr, October 13-17.

At Gitex, GTS will introduce new solutions for document management, systems, banking solutions, GIS applications, property management, fleet management and retail. A seminar entitled ‘Challenges and Strategic Benefits of Migration to Oracle e-Business Suite Release 11i’ will also be organized during the show.

“As an Oracle partner, Gitex gives us the opportunity to emphasize the GTS strengths in Oracle ERP applications, CMMS solutions and support and training,” said Hussain Sultan, ENOC Group chief executive and board member.

GTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of ENOC, employing over 60 IT professionals offering solutions in ERP, e-business, HRMS, asset management and business and technology consulting services.

Through partnerships with various international software companies, GTS offers vertical industry solutions for general trading and distribution, retail, manufacturing, process industries, engineering, services, oil and gas and shipping and surface transport industries.

“In line with the Dubai government’s economic diversification, the ENOC Group has promoted GTS to a fully-fledged informational technology company. Reflecting the ENOC Group’s long-term objective, GTS aims to become one of the leading IT service providers in the region,” said Sultan. — (menareport.com)
