Local and international entertainment and media firms have confirmed their presence at the Global Entertainment and Media Exhibition (GEMEX) to be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Center, March 4-6, 2003.
GEMEX will feature a broad product profile covering every aspect of the media and entertainment industries and is designed to provide media professionals with an ideal venue to launch new technologies and products in a thriving market and network with like-minds. It is held annually and is complemented by a series of seminars, workshops and conferences providing a stimulating environment for industry suppliers to meet end-users and professionals who use their products to communicate.
“GEMEX provides international players with an opportunity to solidify their presence in a region that aspires to strengthen its role in the media realm. To meet that goal we need access to a broad range of products, services and technologies. GEMEX is designed to be a key link in facilitating that objective,” said Ibrahim Al-Hashemi, assistant general manager of the Dubai World Trade Center.
Countries represented to date include Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America.
