International environmental protection groups such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) will embark on a study of the environmental impact Dubai’s proposed mega-project, “The Lagoons,” to be developed by Sama Dubai.
Dubai's other mega-projects, such as its palm shaped and map like man-made islands have caused some to be concerned with the environmental effects of such projects, though developers have stressed that there is no cause for concern, according to <I>Gulf Daily</I>.
Dubai is home to some 17pc of the world's crane population.
