Eskandia Software Solutions has officially handed over a complete e-chamber software package to the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC). This project is in line with Jordan's vision to increasingly develop the government and leading institutions towards e-services.

The e-chamber solution provides an efficient working environment for the Chamber's employees and enables member companies to conduct almost all services through the Internet. The web enabled application provides members with needed information and services through the website of the Chamber.

Provided services include certificates of origin, sponsorships, monetary backgrounds of sponsors, statistical information on external commerce tariffs and customs duties, trades and local and foreign expeditions. Companies can now obtain membership through the Internet, proceed with online payment and receive the Certificate by courier delivery services. Any member can also modify the membership information at any time after secured access to the membership area. This simplifies the membership process and saves members time and effort.

ACC has more than 31,000 registered members. The ACC was founded in 1923 as a non-profit organization to regulate and represent the interests of all trade firms in Amman and surrounding areas, and as one of the oldest Chambers of Commerce in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Eskandia Software Solutions is active in the design, development and deployment of a range of software products in the telecommunication, enterprise and internet areas. The company has over fifty-five employees in offices in Jordan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon and the United Kingdom. — (menareport.com)
