ETA Star - Ascon Lanka have applied their expertise to this project in order to provide their customers with complete satisfaction and draw attention to the emerging Dematagoda area that has easy access to all road networks leading to the Bandaranaike International Airport at Katunayake and Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka. Further, the entire internal structure of the building is designed in such a manner as to allow enough cross ventilation and with emphasis on creating an eco-friendly environment in and around the complex and energy saving aspects.
With a total built-up area of 200,000 square feet, a shopping mall covering 15,000 sq.ft. and an atrium up to the 12th floor have also been built into the complex. This further adds to the attraction of the Golden Enclave Ascon Residencies as retailers and department stores have already signed up to be a part of this venture.
Commenting on the increase in building projects in the Dematagoda area, Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Urban Development & Water Supply said, “I appreciate the way Ascon has taken the challenge to develop a middle-income housing project. ‘Golden Enclave Ascon Residencies’ has been built in Dematagoda, an area where investors are generally wary of undertaking projects due to several hurdles they would have to cross. Hence it is an eye opener for other investors to realize that every piece of land in Colombo has development potential.”
Mr. M. Shahul Hameed, Executive Director, Ascon Lanka along with ETA Star stated that the company will be commencing work soon on two more new housing projects in Colombo; one at Colpetty, consisting of 20 floors and one at Milagiriya Avenue, Bambalapitiya, consisting of 6 floors, to meet the current increasing demand for quality urban housing units at affordable prices.
