Etisalat Academy to launch full range of Maritime Security Courses

Etisalat Academy announced the launch a full range of Maritime Security Courses.  

 

Offered in conjunction with Global Village Strategies, an Australian security organization, these courses are designed to assist the maritime industry in gearing up to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) 1 July 2004 deadline for introducing the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. 

 

“We are always keen to identify and fulfil the training requirements of the local and regional business community. We realized that the maritime industry in the UAE and beyond was in a dire need for world-class training in the field of maritime security at a time the IMO has mandated conformity of all businesses using ports to the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS). Hence, the launch of a series of maritime security courses in conjunction with GVS, the leading Australian security company,” said Dr. Doaa Fares, Etisalat Academy General Manager.
