ALBAWABA- Project Mugen is an upcoming free urban open-world RPG developed by Singaporean game developer, Naked Rain, a subsidiary of NetEase's ThunderFire Studio.
Naked Rain announced that the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4/5, and smartphones. It's currently referred to temporarily as Project Mugen by the developers.
Will Project Mugen have crossplay?

We don't know if Naked Rain's upcoming title will offer crossplay to its players, but based on similar games like Hoyoverse's Genshin Impact, it's likely that Project Mugen will follow the same pattern.
Additionally, adding the possibility of crossplay can only bring good things to the game since it will offer the flexibility for gamers to play together no matter what device or console they own.
What is Project Mugen about?

According to Game Crater, the game will be set in a world similar to Earth where humans have to co-exist with urban legends and supernatural beings. Players will traverse the urban world in order to bring balance and peace to it.
Project Mugen will feature a selection of colorful characters with unique designs and different move sets. Naked Rain has introduced five of them with more coming in the future! Current announced characters include Taffy, Bansy, Alan, Mechanika, and Dila.
The trailer had much to offer showcasing smooth swinging traversal similar to Insomniac's Marvel Spider-man and the addition of several drivable vehicles. It also showcased a variety of characters in action including many of the characters mentioned above.

Project Mugen is currently open for pre-registration on its official website although we still don't have an official release date for it.
