Fransabank SAL signed with Hungary’s export-import bank (Exim Bank) a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in financial and banking matters between the two sides. The agreement stipulates the exchange of financial information and consultation on business and investment prospects in Lebanon and Hungary. It also recommends pursuing opportunities that would benefit both sides. The agreement is the first of its kind between Exim Bank and a Lebanese bank, making Fransabank the exclusive representative of the Hungarian bank in Lebanon. Exim Bank is likely to extend at a later stage trade financing facilities to Arab companies that import Hungarian products. — ( Lebanon Invest )
