Fastlink, a member of Egypt’s Orascom Telecom Group, has announced it will deploy new customer relationship management (P-CRM) software to bolster customer loyalty, minimize churn in its prepaid and postpaid subscriber base and to increase revenues from optimized marketing campaigns.
SLP InfoWare’s P-CRM software enables Fastlink to run proactive marketing campaigns to increase revenue growth through more efficient subscriber acquisition and retention programs. SLP InfoWare entered Jordanian market having collaborated with Compaq Middle East, who provided the hardware for the implementation..
According to company figures, Jordanian wireless carrier Fastlink currently has 560,000 mobile subscribers and 87 percent market share in Jordan. According to Fastlink’s forecasts, Jordan will reach 1.6 million subscribers by 2003 and have a 30 percent penetration rate, making it the fastest growing cellular markets in the Middle East.
In addition to helping Fastlink identify customers most likely to churn, the adoption of SLP InfoWare’s solution will hopefully allow Fastlink effectively to measure the value of their campaigns and customers in financial terms.
