Filipino Airline Suspends GCC Flights Saying Routes 'Not Viable'

Filipino low-cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) shared on their website that they will be suspending operations in the GCC region.

Cebu Pacific is suspending operations to and from Kuwait, Riyadh and Doha, claiming that these routes are no longer viable or sustainable, the notification read. The airline will continue to operate its daily service between Manila and Dubai.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will suspend operations on the following destinations:

The airline is co-ordinating with the passengers on the affected routes.

"We are contacting passengers who are affected by the suspension of CEB service to and from Kuwait, Riyadh and Doha. Passengers with bookings beyond the last flight dates on these affected routes are strongly advised to contact their travel agents or the CEB hotline at +632 7020 881 to discuss options," their website says.
